An international party brand, Space Yacht is currently moving towards launching its non-fungible token (NFT) art collection and this will be accomplished via the Nifty Gateway marketplace. The ‘Space Yacht Iconography Collection’ is the title that has been given to the latest collection and it boasts three of the core themes of the brand within the NFTs, which are pizzas, smiley faces, and its trademarked motto ‘WE ARE SO F☻CKED’. The first project had been a collaboration with a renowned digital artist, Goldweard. It was only a matter of time that these NFTs became the fastest-selling ones of their kind within the NFT marketplace. According to statistics, almost 230 pieces had been sold by the Nifty Gateway within an hour. Now, the brand has introduced its second NFT collection and it is hoping to use it for building on the success it has achieved with this new iconography collection.
It is important to note that Perlman himself is a physical art collector and has been doing so for the last 15 years. In his opinion, digital art is just an extension of his physical art collection and he considers it as a potential means of providing new revenue streams for both musicians and artists alike. Perlman went on to say that this kind of space requires a lot more people for providing it greater viability in the future.
He stated that Space Yacht was convinced that it wouldn’t take long for the NFTs to become a force to be reckoned with in the industry as a whole. Moreover, it would allow musicians and artists to monetize their work in completely different ways. Pizza has held a very special position in the crypto world due to a historical event when someone had purchased two large pizzas for a total of 10,000 BTC. However, the pizza theme used by Space Yacht has absolutely nothing to do with the pizza incident renowned in the crypto industry. Instead, it is connected to the fact that the brand gives out free pizzas on its dance floor at 1 am.
